Join us Wednesday, February 24 at noon for Coffee with the Author lunch & time with Jennie Newbrough. She will be discussing her new book Strength to Stand and At the Core. She will be signing and selling her books.

Jennie founded His Word Christian Counseling 30 years ago to offer Christian counseling and teaching to the body of Christ. She counsels at Crossroads Church in Oakdale, PA and in Weirton, WV. Jennie offers counseling for spiritual growth, marriage issues, addictions, codependency, depression and most other life issues.

Jennie earned her Doctorate of Ministry, Masters of Theology and Masters of Divinity from Christian Life School of Theology and she has founded and directed a local campus of Christian Life School of Theology. Jennie also has a Bachelors Degree in secondary education from West Liberty University, and Jennie has studied at the Institute of Pastoral Counseling in Akron, OH. She is ordained through International Seminary in Plymouth, FL and is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors – AACC.

An author, Jennie has written the Aglow Support Group Leader’s Guide that has been used to train leaders across the nation and At the Core, a study on character development that is a college course for AIM-Aglow Institute of Ministry and for Christian Life School of Theology in Columbus, GA and Strength to Stand, a devotional for the times in which we live. While serving as the Aglow Relationship Resource Person she developed the Care Group network for the Aglow ministry. As a teacher of God’s Word, Jennie has taught at Aglow fellowships throughout the United States, in Bible studies, churches, seminars, retreats, regional trainings for Celebrate Recovery and Writers Workshops

As a member of the Board of Directors of Words of Life Ministries, an international prayer ministry, Jennie has traveled and ministered in the Middle East and Europe.

She and her husband, John, live in Weirton, WV have two adult children and three grandchildren.

We will be serving a light lunch. This event is open to everyone. We look forward to having you joining us.
Jennie will be one of our key speakers joining us for this years The Faithful Women''s Conference on September 9th and 10th.

The Steubenville Revitalization Group is announcing plans for the "What''s Up Downtown" event on Feb. 24. We are sponsoring a tour of 3 churches along Fourth Street, starting at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church at 5pm, then moving north to St. Paul''s Episcopal Church at 5:45 and ending at the First Christian Church at 6:30.
